Facebook is a Waste of Time | #24 of 30-day Blogging Challenge

“Everything I do on Facebook is temporary, including any techniques I learn.” – Adrian Lee

Learned a new word today… Precipice… a very steep rock face or cliff, especially a tall one… and these guys are jumping off it…

You can also apply the word to a situation.

If you say that someone is on the edge of a precipice, you mean that they are in a dangerous situation in which they are extremely close to disaster or failure. – https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/precipice

I can immediately relate that to my life, or rather, my career.

The video industry is advancing so quickly, it’s like standing on a cliff.

There are so many things to learn and if you don’t catch up, the cliff grows higher.

So, here’s my goal.

I am going to master YouTube and grow my channel subscriber base to 10,000.

To achieve that, I will do the following.

  1. Catch up with everything I need to know about YouTube.
  2. Make at least one video a day and upload to YouTube.
  3. Network with like-minded people to help each other grow.

You may ask “What about Facebook?”

I feel that Facebook is like a precipice that keeps crumbling whenever one is formed.

Everything I do on Facebook is temporary, including any techniques I learn.

I’m not going to waste time on Facebook anymore and focus on YouTube.

My old YouTube videos made years ago can still be found on Google… and they are still generating money.

Check out the exact YouTube video marketing system that helps YouTubers earn over $10,000 a month every month.

Here’s a testing vlog…

This stream stopped towards the end.

Then I made another live stream. It also stopped. This time at 2 minutes.

[Live] RODE VideoMic Go Unboxing, Setup and Test on Panasonic FZ2500

So I persisted with part 2… and it also stopped.

[Live] RODE VideoMic Go Unboxing, Setup and Test on Panasonic FZ2500 – Part 2

I gave up live streaming. Recorded on a hard drive instead. Then upload the raw, just to complete the sequence.

It was 5 pm. I suspect it’s peak hour for internet bandwidth.
