BLOG vs JOURNAL vs DIARY | Day 11 of 30-day Blogging Challenge

Day 11. I have succeeded in blogging consistently for 10 days in a row.

Doubt creeps in. Am I doing the right thing? Am I earning money?

BLOG vs JOURNAL vs DIARY

There is a difference between a diary, a journal, and a blog.

Mine is more of a journal, publicly reflecting on my experience of the day.

A diary is usually personal and private to pen one’s thoughts and feelings.

A blog is more focused on a topic, like businesses writing about their industry.

1000 YEARS LATER

Historians discover the past mostly from buried statues and baked clay structures.

Will historians discover me 1000 years later? Not if I have something inscribed on a stone.

Not if I have something inscribed on a stone.

OR something… etched electronically on the internet.

It’s not me that’s worth discovering, but the interesting era life I am living in.

TODAY’S ITINERARY

  • Installed Grammarly app on MacBook Pro. I was offered to install the app while I was signing in the Grammarly. I am signing in so that I can that the grammar check to British English. British English because this is blog is about living in Singapore.

DIVERSION #2 – NX500

Answered a Question by YouTube viewer:  Hi, do you know what the best computer to edit these videos? It isn’t compatible with my mac.

DIVERSION #3: CARS

REWARD

After delivering my edited videos, I rewarded myself with YouTube binging, followed with Facebook videos binging.

2 solid hours later… I panicked… WHAT DID I JUST DO IN THE LAST 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE?!!
