Software for Making Video Intros | Day 13 of 30-day Blogging Challenge

Slept well last night. Woke up fresh at 3.30am. All because of the two and a half glasses of wine last night.

HOW DO YOU FEEL?

My mind was uneasy when I remembered I have to create the Davinci Resolve training materials soon.

I need to train my assistant trainer first, at least a week before the workshop, which happens this Friday.

ARE YOU FEELING BETTER?

YES! I just sold a copy of VIDDYOZE.

What’s VIDDYOZE? Introducing the Software for making animated intro videos.

COOKING WITH WIFE

Actually, it’s shooting with the wife while she cooks. Every weekend, she stays in the kitchen for two hours to come up with an innovative meal. It is my personal challenge to record all of them. Today’s cooking video recipe is Bacon Spaghetti.

PANASONIC FZ2500 CONTINUOUS AUTOFOCUS ISSUE

Recorded the cooking video with the Panasonic FZ2500. Discovered some focusing issue.

Continuous autofocus doesn’t seem to follow the subject smoothly.

Couldn’t find the issue mentioned online, but there is one with the GH5…

Panasonic states: “We recommend to select 1-area AF in 30p or 60p frame rate for more comfortable Auto Focus speed. When you select 24p, 1-area AF is recommended.”

I tried it. It doesn’t work. Focus starts hunting when the subject moves nearer or further.

The search for the solution continues.

BACK TO WORK!

I know it’s a Sunday, but if you are a work-at-home dad, it makes no difference.  Every day is a new and exciting day full of opportunities and challenges to grab.
