On 21st October 2020, Acer released a YouTube video about the new Porsche design Acer book RS.
Porsche design? Acer laptop? Does it mean it’s fast and beautiful? Is it powerful?
CPU – 11th Gen Intel Core processor – That’s the latest series of processors by Intel. So that’s fast.
GPU – Nvidia GeForce MX350 – It has a discrete graphics processing unit. So that makes it even faster.
What is 11th gen Intel core processor? What is Nvidia GeForce MX350?

Is the Intel processor an i7? Is it a touchscreen? Is it a flippable convertible laptop? How much RAM does the GPU have? Is it lightweight? How long can the battery last? Can I use it for Multicam multi-stream? Can I use it to edit video on DaVinci Resolve?
Here are some bullet pointers.
Lightweight – 1.2 kg. That’s very light.
Long battery life – 17 hours. That’s a long time.
Height – 15.99 mm. That’s rather huge compared with my MacBook Pro.
Screen size – 14-in touch screen. Full HD 1920×1080. Being a Porsche design, I think it should be 4K resolution instead. Yes, it’s a touch screen.
The keyboard and groove resemble my 2013 MacBook Pro.
1 thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, 1 USB 3.2 port, and one HDMI output port.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, both with higher speeds than normal, which is not significant for my needs.
Is it available in Singapore? How much is it? What are the configuration options?
There are three available models. One with an i5 chip, one with the i7 chip, and one i7 chip with the travel pack.

Very expensive.

I might consider these Porsche design Acer RX for my next Windows laptop.
Oh yes! What about the webcam? Is it 1080p or the low 720p?
I am starting to get a feeling that it is s Porsche on the outside only.
