How to Make a Magical Door Portal with CapCut

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to step into another world through a door? Well, you can create this amazing effect with CapCut, a video editing app that lets you unleash your creativity. First, you need to record yourself opening the door and walking outside. Make sure the door is closed at the beginning and open at the end of the video. You can use any door in your house or outside, as long as it has a clear contrast with the background.

Next, open CapCut and start a new project. Select the video you just recorded and tap on ‘Add’. This will import the video to the timeline. Now, scroll to the part where the door is open halfway. This will be the point where the magic happens.

Select the clip, go to the cutout tool, choose customized cutout, select brush, and paint over everything except outside the door. This will create a mask that will reveal the other world behind the door. You can adjust the brush size to make it more precise.

Press the plus button in the timeline, select a video or photo that you want to use as the other world, and tap on ‘Add’. This can be anything you like, such as a fantasy landscape, a city skyline, or even a picture of yourself in a different outfit.

Select the door video and choose overlay. This will make the door video appear on top of the other video or photo. Drag the door video under the other world video in the timeline. This will make sure that the mask is applied correctly.

Now, you have created a magical door portal with CapCut! Play back and see how it looks. You can also add some music, filters, stickers, or text to make it more fun and personalized.
