Without lighting, your videos can look dull and flat.

One light is better, but you can still get uneven shadows.

However, with two lights, it is perfection. The lighting is both nice and even.

Here’s my setup:

  • Lights: I use Tofu LED lights. They’re a bit pricey, but I LOVE the external knobs for easy brightness adjustments, and they flip around quickly for lighting the other side.
    • Budget-friendly option: Ulanzi VL49 – great quality without the bells and whistles.
  • Tripod: You’ll need something to hold your phone and those lights! I use the Ulanzi JJ02 – it’s a tripod, selfie stick, AND camera grip, plus it comes with a wireless clicker! 🤯

Why good lighting matters:

  • Makes you look your best! ✨
  • Creates a more professional feel 🎬
  • Helps your videos stand out from the crowd 🌟
