How to Hide Featured Images on Individual Posts and Pages in WordPress Theme 2022

Featured images are important, but it’s not effective if that’s the first thing visitors see on my web page, especially when it’s one big block obscuring all the info the visitors came for.

I have tried 2 plugins and 1 CSS code to hide featured images from all single posts and pages. None worked on WordPress Theme Twenty Twenty-Two.

Then I found a CSS code that worked. Thanks to WPallresources.com.

Here’s how to do it.

1. Log in to WordPress and go to Dashboard.
2. Go to Appearance > Customize…

3. Select Additional CSS…

4. Copy and Paste this code “.single-post .wp-post-image { display: none; }” and click on Publish…

Now every single post and page on my WordPress Theme 2022 has the huge featured image hidden.
