How I Created Clones of Myself Looking Out the Window at My Giant Self

One day, I decided to embark on a fun and creative project: creating clones of myself looking out the window at my giant self. Here’s how I did it:

Step 1: Recording

First, I recorded myself walking towards the window from one side. Then, I repeated the process from the other side. Finally, I walked close to the camera, making myself appear like a giant.

Step 2: Creating the Clones

I opened CapCut and started a new project. I selected the window recording and tapped on ‘Add’. I moved the timeline in between the left clone and the right clone. After selecting the clip, I did a split and chose ‘Overlay’. I dragged the second half under the first half. Then, I selected the lower half, chose ‘Mask’ and ‘Split Mask’. I adjusted the split mask to reveal the two clones. After tapping on the export button, voila! Two clones looking out the window were created.

Step 3: Adding the Giant Clone

Next, I started another new project. I selected the window clones and tapped on ‘Add’. I chose ‘Overlay’ and added an overlay. Then, I selected the giant clone recording and tapped on ‘Add’. Using ‘Cutout’, I removed the background. After selecting the window clones clip, I chose ‘Copy’ and ‘Overlay’. I dragged the overlay under the giant clip. Then, selecting the copy overlay, I chose ‘Cutout’, ‘Customized Cutout’, and ‘Brush’. Carefully, I painted over everything except for the window.

And that’s it! The final result was a fascinating scene of my clones looking out of the window at my giant self.
