How can I apply for a Trust Credit Card

I was not looking for a credit card, but my wife recommended me to apply for the Trust Credit Card, that offers great rewards and benefits, especially for shopping at FairPrice Group outlets.

Here’s how I did it and what I learned along the way.

First, I downloaded the Trust Bank mobile app from the App Store or Play Store. The app is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

It also has a lot of features that make banking more convenient and secure, such as biometric login, instant notifications, and payment security.

Next, I signed up for an account with my SingPass. The app automatically retrieved my personal details and income history from MyInfo, so I didn’t have to fill in any forms or upload any documents.

The whole process took less than 10 minutes and I got approved instantly.

Then, I chose whether I wanted a physical card or a digital card only. The physical card has a minimum salary requirement of $30,000 per year, while the digital card only requires $20,000 per year. I opted for the digital card only, because it has some advantages over the physical card, such as:

• No annual fee
• No foreign transaction fee (not even 1% Visa charges)
• No cash advance fee
• No card replacement fee
• Additional 2% Monthly Bonus Rate on FairPrice Group spend for the first 2 months

The digital card can be used for online transactions, in-app purchases, offline and recurring payments. It can also be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay for in-store purchases. To add the card to these platforms, I just had to follow the instructions on the app. It was very simple and fast.

I also learned that I can pay my credit card bill from my Trust Savings Account using the app. The app also shows me how much I have saved and earned from using my card.

I am very happy with my Trust Credit Card and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a rewarding and hassle-free credit card experience.
