Yesterday, I created a Coinbase wallet… https://adrianvideoimage.com/create-coinbase-wallet-in-singapore/
How do I connect the Coinbase wallet to Opensea?
It seems confusing at first, but I understood what’s going on later.
Anyway, I discovered Metamask and Opensea have their mobile Android apps. So I installed them.
Metamask is the most popular crypto wallet, which I did not use because I thought it was only web browser based. I might consider creating one later.
The Opensea app is similar to the web version.
The confusing thing at first is that Opensea has no account signup button.
So how to sign up for an Opensea account?
Just connect a Crypto wallet!
- From Google Chrome on the phone, go to Opensea mobile web version. (The desktop version on the phone won’t connect to Coinbase wallet automatically)
- Tap on the dropdown menu.
- Tap on Connect Wallet.
- Choose Coinbase Wallet.
- Coinbase wallet app automatically opens… And is connected to Opensea.
I can now navigate Opensea from within the Coinbase wallet.
The Opensea app that I installed doesn’t seem to connect with the Coinbase wallet. So I am uninstalling it. I’m also uninstalling Metamask wallet to avoid confusion and conflicts.
I learned that Opensea is just an NFT trading platform. The Coinbase wallet is the place I store my crypto AND the NFT I own.
The next step is to sell an NFT on OpenSea.
