Clickfunnels Affiliate Bootcamp 7 of 100-Day Challenge Review – FB Ads Demo

Thanks to Clickfunnels, I can now put my products and services on FB Ads.

Look at Day 6 to see the step-by-step process that I have learned about putting an ad together.

I will show you the results in a moment.

In the meantime, let’s do Day 7!

Day 7 training is about FB ads again, this time an over the shoulder demo.

Most of the steps are repeated except for the data being keyed in.

  • Think of three layers. Job title. People. Software.
  • Demographics – work – job title. Type in “owner”. Then choose the suggestions. Business owner, owner-operator, store owners, Chairman, CEOs, and founders, Especially the Job title that small business owners give themselves. They are also the decision-makers. Avoid the large corporation owners and CEOs. Choose about 10 to 20.
  • People. Enter one name and look at the suggestions. For example, Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss, Perry Belcher, Eben Pagan, Jeff Walker, Mike Filsaime, Armand Morin, Andy Jenkins, Etcetera. Choose about 10 to 20 internet marketing people. Exclude Russell Brunson.
  • Software. Aweber, Getresponse, Hootsuite, Hubspot, Infusionsoft, Mailchimp, Marketo, etc. All the software related to marketing online.
  • Now he says he wants to bring the audience size to 50,000. In the previous lesson, he mentioned the minimum size should be 500,000. Okay, I am confused.
  • Give the ad set a name for example “Owners that are Internet marketers that like software”.
  • Find a cute dog picture. Try https://growthsupply.com/free/ or Pexel.
  • Use Canva to edit the picture. Add in the logo.
  • Make 2 dog pictures to do a split test to see which one works better.
  • Question to self. Are cute pictures even relevant to Clickfunnels?
  • Back in FB ads manager, choose Single Image but upload the 2 pictures.
  • Social on the top. Hook at the bottom. Inside the text box type in the message. A casual message that you would normally type into social media.
  • The final thing to learn here is to analyze the stats from the ads manager under Performance and Clicks.
  • Look out for Cost per Click  (CPC) and Click Through Rate (CTR).
  • Keep CPC (Link Clicks) below $1.
  • Keep CTR (Link Clicks) between 1% to 2%.

So now, my stats. The ad was approved at 2.30am this morning (I placed the order at 2 am). Now the time is 3.40pm, same day. Look at the results.

My CPC is S$1.29 and CTR 0.99%.

Close but not good enough?

Anyway, $6.45 is already spent. With that, I have five clicks.

That means only five people went to my landing page.

Checking on my Clickfunnels affiliate account, I see only one click through, out of the five that visited my landing page.

No Sale.

Let’s wait one day or more to see the real results.

See you on Day 8.
