“FEAR IS TEMPORARY. REGRET IS FOREVER.” – unknown
As you grow older, you begin to regret things you wanted to do but missed the chance.
On the flip side, you may have done something, but was the wrong decision, and you regretted.
The difference is that the feeling of having done something instead of nothing is far better.
This Friday, I will be facing a FEAR… and I am feeling it since Monday.
I took up the challenge to teach an adult class of 30 within 4 short hours on Videography and Video Editing.
I could have turned down the job, but I know fear is temporary and regret is forever.
Today is a public holiday, Vesak Day, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha, which are all said to have happened on the same date. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesak
I will be having a quiet time at home with the family while preparing my slides for this Friday’s videography and video editing workshop.
The preparation includes going live on YouTube to document me editing a video using Davinci Resolve 12.5, a free professional video editing software.
Look over my shoulder as I edit a real video which will be posted on my personal YouTube channel.
