Lenovo Yoga 520 Review Part 4 – The Active Pen

With the 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop used as a tablet, the benefits of the pen go even further.

In this post, I rant and rave about the Lenovo Active Pen as it is being tested on the Yoga 520.

With pinpoint accuracy and 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity, the Pen is great for the Artist.

However, does it perform well when used an alternative to the mouse and the trackpad?

There are 5 things I don’t like about the Lenovo Active Pen.

1. It’s bigger and heavier than a real pen
2. It requires a hard-to-find AAAA battery to work
3. The USB pen holder is simply not practical
4. I cannot drag and drop events in Google Calendar
5. I cannot highlight text like a mouse cursor does

Well, to be fair, it’s a tool designed for the professional graphic designer.

Let me know your thoughts and please tell me if the Pen is good for you.

Until the next exciting Lenovo Yoga 520 Review, see you in the next post.
