Here’s the result of my blood test at Singhealth Sengkang Polyclinic.
According to the doctor, Bad Cholesterol is super high.

Doctor asked me if I am willing to go on medication.
I said no I will my go on medication but will exercise more and eat well.
Doctor said Exercises and diets won’t help. Only medication will bring the cholesterol down. If I do not lower it now, the chance of a heart attack is imminent.
Looks like the first question was unnecessary. It sounds to me like “Do it my way or die!”
So I asked the doctor about the price and side effects and whether I have to live with it forever. Of course, prescribe me, for I don’t want to die soon.
Prescribed 2 months of medicine. After that see the doctor again for a blood test.
Must exercise 4 times a week until panting and sweating.
In the meantime, if I have Excessive sweating, it is a sign of heart attack. Better rush to emergency unit immediately.
Everything else is ok – heart rate, weight, and diabetes.
Cannot eat and drink grapefruit during medication. See doctor upon experiencing muscle aches or allergic reaction.

That’s the end of my 50 years of tip top health condition. I don’t smoke nor drink, and I eat plenty of greens and fibre.
What I need to do more is work out.

The cholesterol result is part of the blood test I took at the Singapore’s Polyclinic. The overall cost so far, including 3 visits and the medication, is less than S$25. Have you checked your health lately?
