Can the Xiaomi Mi 1C Robot Vacuum Cleaner suck long hair?

YES! We have plenty of long human hair in the house and the robot sucked them all up.

Can I save the map of the house?

Instead of cleaning room by room, I let the robot handle the whole house.

This is the map the app created.

It’s a small house. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to vacuum and used only 40% of the battery.

To save the map, I went into the Mi Home app settings and selected Experimental Features.

From there I turned on Map Saving Mode.

With the map saving mode, I can set virtual walls instead of closing the doors or creating separate rooms on the app.

I will try that in the next cleanup and report it here.

PS:

It missed one portion of the house because I wasn’t monitoring and a standing fan was in the way…

The robot returns to the charging dock on its own after the work is done.
