Bluehost vs Hostgator vs Siteground
How much am I paying for Bluehost and Hostgator today?
Am I confident to migrate my site to a new service? Need a backup.
What features am I looking for? WordPress support, unlimited files…
Should I use dedicated WordPress hosting services?
Can I use free websites like BlogSpot or Tumblr?
What do I want to solve?
Web Hosting Nightmare
Hostgator and Bluhost are slowing down… Plus other nightmares.
I asked friends for better web hosting site recommendation.
The common answer is Siteground. Good speed. No hostage.
Sounds like a pun, but Hostgator and Bluehost many times shut down my business websites, held hostage, till I pay money to buy some security plugin.
This must end.
November 2015
In the Beginning
I use four web hosting services for my business.
- BlueHost
- Hostgator
- Yahoo Small Busines
- GoDaddy
In each of the service, I build several websites.
On October 2015, Yahoo announced that it is leaving the web hosting business and is transferring my account to another hosting company.
I have never heard of this other hosting company, which makes me feel uncomfortable. Hence I decided to move out my websites.
I am transferring the domains to one of my other three web hosting services, and logically I chose the best of the three, Hostgator.
What made me choose Hostgator? Good experience – Little downtime, fast upload and download speeds, and quick helpdesk.
So if you are looking for a reliable proven service by a web hosting company, I recommend Hostgator and check out their attractive year-end promo!
