[094]🥶 USB-Powered Heated Vest Review: How to Keep Warm in a Minus Temperature Winter Holiday

We’re excited about our upcoming winter holiday, but we’re also a little worried about the weather. The place we’re going is expected to drop to minus 25 degrees Celsius, which is much colder than we’re used to. We’ve seen videos of young men on YouTube who have frozen even with multiple layers of winter clothing, so we don’t want to take any chances.

That’s why we decided to buy a USB-powered heated vest. We opted for a more affordable option since we only needed it for a week.

Features of the USB-powered Heated Vest

  • The vest has a silvery and reflective inner lining.
  • The front zipper goes all the way up to cover the entire neck.
  • There is a USB connector in the lower inner pocket.
  • There is no built-in battery, so you have to connect your own mobile power bank.
  • There are two buttons on the top left side of the vest: one for the back and one for the belly.
  • To turn it on, you have to choose a button and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
  • When it’s on, the button lights up.
  • You can turn on both the belly and back buttons at the same time, or just one of them.
  • The instructions are sewn onto the power bank pocket.
  • The default color of the button light is red.
  • Press the button once to change the color: red is for high heat, white is for medium heat, and blue is for low heat.

Testing the Power Banks

We did a test to see how long our power banks would last. We tried a variety of power banks, including cheap unbranded ones, a 2017 10000mAh Anker power bank, and a new 2023 10000mAh Remax power bank.

The cheap unbranded 5000mAh power banks failed. They could only power the back or the belly, but not both. If we tried to power up both, the vest would just shut down.

The 2017 10000mAh Anker power bank lasted slightly over 1 hour on maximum heat.

The new 2023 10000mAh Remax power bank lasted slightly over 2 hours on maximum heat.

The 2017 10000mAh Anker power bank lasted 3 hours on medium heat.

Based on these results, we will definitely need to bring more power banks with us on our trip. We will also need to be mindful of how long we use the heated vests, as we don’t want to run out of power in the middle of sub-zero nowhere.

Overall, we are happy with our purchase of the USB-powered heated vest. We think it will be a valuable addition to our winter wardrobe, and we are looking forward to putting it to the test on our upcoming holiday.

Get yours…

  1. Here’s a shorter simpler script:

“Ever wondered how to stay warm in extreme cold? Hi all, today I’m introducing a game-changer: a heated vest for my winter trip.

I’m off to a place colder than your freezer. I’ve seen folks shivering despite layers of clothes. That’s why I picked this heated vest from Shopee SG. It’s affordable, has great reviews, and looks stylish.

This vest has built-in heaters powered by a USB cable. Connect it to any power bank and feel the warmth on your back and belly. Two buttons let you control the temperature and heated area. There are three heat levels, each with a different button color.

The vest is soft and comfy, with a shiny inside. The zipper covers your neck. It has two pockets, one with a USB connector. You need to use your own power bank.

I tested it with different power banks. Cheap ones didn’t work. The 2017 Anker lasted over an hour on high heat. The 2023 Remax lasted over two hours on high heat.

So, remember to pack extra power banks for your trip. You don’t want to be left in the cold.

I’m really happy with my heated vest. It’s a winter essential. Interested? Check the links below. Thanks for watching, see you next time. Bye!”

  2. Here’s my product review video script:

Hello, everyone. Welcome to my channel, where I share my experiences with technology and travel. In this video, I’m going to review a USB-powered heated vest that I bought for my upcoming winter holiday.

As you may know, I’m planning to visit a place where the temperature can drop to minus 25 degrees Celsius, which is way colder than what I’m used to. I’ve seen videos of people freezing even with multiple layers of clothing, so I wanted to be prepared and stay warm.

That’s why I decided to buy this USB-powered heated vest from Shopee SG. It was a more affordable option than other brands, and it had good reviews from other buyers. I also liked the design and the color of the vest.

So, what is a USB-powered heated vest? Well, it’s a vest that has heating elements inside, powered by a USB cable. You can connect the vest to any mobile power bank that you have, and it will heat up your back and your belly. There are two buttons on the vest that let you control the temperature and the area that you want to heat. You can choose from three levels of heat: high, medium, and low. The buttons also light up in different colors to indicate the heat level.

The vest itself is made of a soft and comfortable material, with a silvery and reflective inner lining. The front zipper goes all the way up to cover your neck, which is nice. The vest has two pockets, one of which has a USB connector inside. The vest does not come with a power bank, so you have to use your own.

I did a test to see how long the vest can last with different power banks. I tried some cheap unbranded ones, a 2017 Anker one, and a new 2023 Remax one. The results were:

The cheap unbranded ones failed. They could only power one area, not both. If I tried to power both, the vest would shut down.
The 2017 Anker one lasted slightly over 1 hour on high heat, and 3 hours on medium heat.
The new 2023 Remax one lasted slightly over 2 hours on high heat.

Based on these results, I think I will need to bring more power banks with me on my trip, and also be careful not to use the vest for too long. I don’t want to run out of power in the middle of nowhere.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase of the USB-powered heated vest. I think it will be a useful and valuable addition to my winter wardrobe, and I’m looking forward to testing it out on my holiday. I hope this review was helpful for you, and if you’re interested in buying one, you can check out the links in the description below. Thank you for watching, and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye!
