Here’s how I remove the background in a video using CapCut and then add a new background:
- Open CapCut and start a new project.
- Select the recording and tap on “ADD”.
- Select the clip in the timeline and choose the “Cutout” tool.
- Tap on “Remove Background”. The background will disappear.
- Tap on the plus button in the timeline.
- Choose a new background and tap on “ADD”.
- Select the clip with no background.
- Choose the “Overlay” command.
- Drag the overlay under the new background.
