A personal brand statement is a crucial step in your personal branding efforts and when it comes to building your personal brand. It’s usually 1-3 sentences that explain what you do and why you are unique in your field.

  4. Write down what you do. What is your area of expertise?

  6. Write down what makes you different. What sets you apart from others in your field?
  7. Combine these elements into a sentence or two that captures the essence of your personal brand.

Refine and edit your statement until it’s clear, concise, and memorable.
