Nintendo Switch Console Scam in Singapore

Stay at home. Stay safe. Buy online but do not be scammed, especially when buying the popular Nintendo Switch Console.

The Singapore Police have seen a spike in scams involving the e-commerce sale of Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.

Here are some tips by the police for buying things online.

1. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. For high-value items, it is advisable to purchase from reputable sources.

2. Verify the seller’s listing such as age of the account and the number of positive reviews to determine whether the seller is legitimate.

3. Whenever possible, pay only upon delivery. Opt for in-built payment options which can offer buyer protection instead of making direct bank transfers.

As for tip number three, that’s where I like to buy from Lazada or Qoo10.

Here’s the latest Nintendo Switch package from Qoo10… https://adrianvideoimage.com/animal-crossing-nintendo-switch/ … It should be sold out by now.

Have you been scammed before?
