MAMA 2014 Korean Music Awards Live Performance

Watched a 7-hour live TV show yesterday with my teen daughters.

It’s the MAMA 2014 (Mnet Asian Music Awards) held in Hong Kong.

“Why is a grand Korean music awards show held outside of Korea?”

That’s the question my wife and I asked the kids, and the answer is…

Mnet “Asian” as the name implies. It’s not just K-Pop, but Asian Pop.

Oh really! Singapore’s JJ Lin was mentioned in just a split second.

Other Asian stars also appeared a few seconds out of the 7 hours.

It’s entirely K-Pop! And a chance for an oldie to catchup with pop.

Are you an “oldie” like me? Want to catch up with who’s who in K?

I have compiled a series of YouTube video for each performance.

Go here and watch byte-sized MAMA 2014 performances now…
