Adrian’s Journal #191122

I am stuck. I’m getting nowhere. Write a Daily Journal they say. It will change your life.

Yes it’s true. I have been journaling. Privately.

Not anymore. At least for today. My journals are going public.

Let’s begin.

What’s today’s challenge?

Answer the three 5-minute journal morning questions…

What will I do to make today great / awesome?

  • Shoot and upload day 5 of my personal 5 day video challenge. (Complete)

What is my weekly challenge?

  • The 5-day video challenge. (Complete)

What 3 tasks would I complete today?

  • Task#1. Explore and document an online video editing app that helps you create video content fast… Like in 10 minutes. (Complete)
  • Task#2. Complete 3 more blog posts on VIDEOLANE.Com including a davinci resolve training, zhiyun smooth 4 vs q2, and other content posted on LinkedIn. (Try again)
  • Task#3. Write and Release the Tech Fair newsletter. Target Black Friday. (Try again)

Optional questions:

  • What am I thankful for right now? The sweetness of my morning coffee.
  • What do I need to hear today? Kaching.
  • What am I really good at? Procrastination.

Task#1. Explore and document InVideo video editing app

One word. Terminator. It’s here to terminate all video editor jobs. No need to outsource your video content creation.

This software does it all. The human just provide the script.

InVideo. There’s a lot to talk about it, but let’s go to it’s main strength.

It creates video content fast! Like less than 10 minutes.

You write the script or article and throw it into InVideo.

InVideo will automatically analyze your script and creates the video.

The final edit is complete with dynamic stock images, animated text graphics and royalty-free background music.

That’s not all! It can also read out, aka voice-over, your text.

If you don’t like how the voice-over sounds, you can record your own voice.

If you don’t like the images that it selected, you can upload your own.

Hack! If you don’t like everything, you can switch to professional mode and manually edit yourself.

It’s not just a dumb AI software which I initially thought it was.

You must try it for yourself to understand what I mean.

If you decide to buy the software, use this code and get 50% discount. “VIDEO50” – Black Friday deal.

After exploration and documentation, I posted 2 versions of the review…

  2. https://www.videolane.com/invideo-review/

Task completed. The next level of this task is to make a video review in 7 parts.

Disclosure: This is an affiliate product I am promoting… Like all other products I’m promoting.

Weekly challenge completed

Completed 5-day video challenge. Created one 1-minute plus video clip each day.

Here’s day 5 video.

What did I learn?

Lesson#1. How to title your Journal? “Declarative titles – state the main findings or conclusions (e.g. ‘A three-month weight loss program increases self-esteem in adolescent girls’) – https://blog.efpsa.org/2012/09/01/how-to-write-a-good-title-for-journal-articles/

Lesson#2. IORA, SORA and Lalu are sister companies. I learned about this from the shop at Oasis Terraces , Punggol.

What did you share?

Q&A#1. How much is the BMPCC 6K? The BMPCC 6K is S$3545 body only without lens. With the lens? Add $1000 to over $10,000. Isn’t the total very expensive? Yes. It’s not a regular camera. It’s a cinema camera. For making big screen movies. This question came after I released my Blackmagic pocket Cinema Camera 6K review… https://youtu.be/P2tjeVIL5D8

Q&A#2. How to improve (make louder) smartphone video voice recording? 1. Get closer. 2. Use external mic. 3. Use phone headset. See the video above.

What worked? What did not work?

Did I accomplish my challenge?

5-day video challenge. Completed. No obvious ROI. Looks like social media (Linkedin, Facebook, instagram, twitter and google business) have Bad algorithms (done and gone). Long term ROI (google searcheable and pinnacle) should be in Blogs and Youtube.

Writing public journal. This is the first one. Feels better than private journal. Private journals are hidden, forgotten, and feels as if my life accomplishments and struggles did not happen. Just like vlogging, but on a higher conscious level. Nothing to hide.

Task 2 and 3 escaped. Why? No excuse. Purely the art of procrastination. No panic monster to scare the fun monkey.

What am I grateful for today?

A wonderful dinner with the family. Char Siu noodle with Mala source and lava egg at Crystal Jade, Oasis Terraces, Punggol.

What can be done better next?

  1. Transfer the 5 daily challenge videos to YouTube and WP blog.
  2. Remember original purpose of 5-day challenge is to get subsribers.
  3. Prepare the next challenge and call it #5dayvlogchallenge
  4. Write journal in AVI wp blog 3 times a day. Reflect and plan.
  5. InVideo Review – make 7 demo videos before Black Friday.
  6. Complete 5 blog posts on VIDEOLANE.Com including a davinci resolve training, zhiyun smooth 4 vs q2, and other content posted on LinkedIn.
  7. Write and Release the Tech Fair newsletter. Target Black Friday.

More tasks will be added in the next post.
