Google Pixel Fold Release Date and Price

The Google Pixel Fold represents Google’s first attempt at a foldable phone. It’s rumored to be coming soon to take on Samsung’s devices for a spot on the best foldable phone list.

Release Date

The most recent intel we have on the Pixel Fold release date comes from a leak from Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech. He claims that the Pixel Fold will be announced May 10 at Google I/O 2023, and pre-orders will start May 10 as well. You’ll apparently be able to pre-order from partners and carriers on May 30, while the Pixel Fold’s retail release date could be June 27.

Price

The bad news is that leaker Jon Prosser says the 256GB Pixel Fold will cost $1,799. However, other sources point to a Pixel Fold that undercuts Samsung, with a price range of $1,300 to $1,500.

Design

The Pixel Fold is expected to unfold like a book, with an outer display the user can use when the phone is closed. In other words, it’s roughly the form factor of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The Pixel Fold is rumored to have the following specifications:
