Free Oximeter from Temasek Holdings Singapore – Collecting and Reading

I got the leaflet from my mailbox to collect the free oximeter from Temasek Holdings Singapore. Here’s what I did next… https://youtu.be/1Nk8xJrcqUs

The collection period is from 5th July to 5th August 2021. (Today is 6th July 2021)

How to collect the free oximeter?

There is an extra fold inside the leaflet.
It says I must bring this leaflet to collect my free oximeter.

Where to collect the free oximeter?

I scanned the QR code on the leaflet to find a collection center near me, scrolled down the web page, and typed in my postal code.
There are a few collection sites at Waterway Point Shopping Mall.
I went to Unity but they ran out of stock and asked me to try Guardian or Fair Price.
I went to Fair Price, tore out the redemption leaflet fold, and exchanged it for the oximeter.

What’s in the oximeter box?

In front of the box, I can see the print “Temasek Holding”. At the back is the manufacturer’s address. Made in Shenzhen, China.

Inside the box, there is the oximeter, 2 AAA batteries, a strap, and a user manual.

How to set up the oximeter?

Setting up was easy.

Just insert the provided batteries into the oximeter.

Attach the optional strap.

That’s it.

How to use the oximeter?

The instruction tells me to insert my middle finger or index finger into the oximeter.
Place my hand firmly on the table.
The device automatically turns on.
Wait about one minute for the result.

Why use an oximeter?

We may have covid19 without showing any symptoms.

Covid19 can cause silent pneumonia (lung problem) without you knowing.

Use the oximeter regularly to monitor your oxygen level.

What is an oximeter?

The oximeter is an electronic device to help check the oxygen levels in our blood.

You can also buy your fingertip oximeter from…

Amzn SG https://amzn.to/3jVD2uJ

How to read the oximeter?

My reading is 98.7%.

Between 95% to 100%, it’s a healthy range.

If it’s 90% to 94%, call the doctor.ย

If below 90%, go to A&E immediately.ย

What if my oximeter isn’t working?

I’m also told to keep the box in case it doesn’t work so that we can exchange it for a new one.

What’s next?

I am going to test the rest of the family… Every day.
