Creating a Coinbase Wallet Account in Singapore

I am about to create a Coinbase Wallet so I can start selling NFTs at Opensea and earn cryptocurrency.

I chose Coinbase over Metamask because I prefer a mobile app wallet over a desktop browser-based wallet. Update: Metamask has an app. Opensea has an app too.

Here are the steps.

  1. Go to Google Play Store and Install Coinbase Wallet… https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.toshi
  2. Tap on Create a new wallet and accept the Term and Privacy statements.
  3. Enter a user name. I will call mine @adrianvideoimage. That’s where you can send me payments.
  4. Set my privacy preferences. I set it to Public of course, so other wallet users can find me and send my crypto.
  5. Add an extra layer of security to protect my wallet with my fingerprint or PIN. I choose to use a PIN.
  6. Choose to backup my wallet with a secret recovery phrase.
  7. Wow! 12 words to remember in the secret recovery phrase. I choose to backup on Google Drive than manually.
  8. Create a password to retrieve the phrase.

So now I have a Coinbase Wallet. It’s not my first crypto wallet though. I have Binance SG (shutting down in Feb 2022) and Crypto.com.

The next step is to connect the Coinbase wallet to Openseahttps://adrianvideoimage.com/connecting-coinbase-wallet-to-opensea/
