I am about to create a Coinbase Wallet so I can start selling NFTs at Opensea and earn cryptocurrency.
I chose Coinbase over Metamask because I prefer a mobile app wallet over a desktop browser-based wallet. Update: Metamask has an app. Opensea has an app too.
Here are the steps.
- Go to Google Play Store and Install Coinbase Wallet… https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.toshi
- Tap on Create a new wallet and accept the Term and Privacy statements.
- Enter a user name. I will call mine @adrianvideoimage. That’s where you can send me payments.
- Set my privacy preferences. I set it to Public of course, so other wallet users can find me and send my crypto.
- Add an extra layer of security to protect my wallet with my fingerprint or PIN. I choose to use a PIN.
- Choose to backup my wallet with a secret recovery phrase.
- Wow! 12 words to remember in the secret recovery phrase. I choose to backup on Google Drive than manually.
- Create a password to retrieve the phrase.
So now I have a Coinbase Wallet. It’s not my first crypto wallet though. I have Binance SG (shutting down in Feb 2022) and Crypto.com.
The next step is to connect the Coinbase wallet to Opensea… https://adrianvideoimage.com/connecting-coinbase-wallet-to-opensea/
