How To Calm My Anxiety

It happens all the time starting from 7 days before the class or shoot.

FEAR, ANXIETY, AND UNCERTAINTY!

Here’s a calming mental exercise…

Check-in with yourself 3 times a day.

Are you focusing on the negative things that may happen?

Or are you excited about the opportunities ahead of you?

Our minds focus on the negatives as a survival instinct.

Shift your focus and break the pattern.

Acknowledge the emotion and thought.

Be aware of the trigger causing the emotion and thought.

DO NOT fix the emotion.

FIX the trigger!

Focus on the opportunity instead of the problem.

You are not your thought, feeling and emotion.

Your emotion is the feedback to your current thought.

Learn from your emotion.

Feel your emotion fully.

Give yourself permission to feel the emotion fully.

It’s like bringing light into the darkness.

Fear, anxiety and uncertainty will slowly fade away.

We are more afraid of the dark than what’s hiding in the dark.
