Best Zoom Settings for Teaching and Recording

I hate Zoom. 🀬The video recording is worse than VCD. The audio recording is worse than a tiny box radio. Screen sharing is so laggy. Too laggy to teach video editing software.

I can’t find the solution on Google. So I tweaked all day to experiment.

Here are my “best” Zoom settings for remote training and local video recording…

This is the actual Zoom recording, unedited… it could be much better if not for its limitations… https://www.facebook.com/AdrianLeeYC/videos/10157378421663391/

I preparing Zoom for tomorrow’s videography and video editing training to 6 participants… https://www.videolane.com/courses/basic-videography/

Suggested Alternatives to Zoom video conferencing would be Microsoft TEAMS, WebEx free tier, Streamyard, Jitsi, and Google Meeting.

Do you know any better platform that provides great online meeting and video recording quality?

PS:

Wifey is at home. Finally, she’s working from home. Just for one day per week. In line with the SG COVID Circuit Breaker (CCB) measures, this is a requirement by essential service companies to rotate their staff to work from home.

Today, my work is to finalize the modified agenda for videography and video editing training. It’s going to be more interactive than the original classroom workshop.
