Hidden Spy Camera Detector App

I  just learnt from this article that there is an app for detecting hidden cameras (Cost about S$6).

For iOS – https://itunes.apple.com/sg/app/hidden-camera-detector/id532882360

For Android – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hiddencamdetector.futureapps.com.hiddencamdetector&hl=en

I wonder how it works. (Works by detecting flash reflection. Not good!)
