1 post, 10 responses, hundreds of brain cells torched

You don’t actually know what brain stress is until you try this.

On Monday morning, I posted an ad on Facebook.

Well not actually an ad, but it is an ad.

Just that I decided not to write it as an ad so that it stands out from the hundreds of other ads.

This is my first try after completing that affiliate marketing course I mentioned in yesterday’s post.
I DIDN’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED…

I have posted ads before using the usual salesey template with dismal result.

However, with the new method, responses poured in.

Not immediately. More like exponentially.

It started trickling in for the first few hours.

Towards midnight, I was inundated.

I WASN’T PREPARED!

It’s been a long time since I burned my brain cells, answering my school exam paper questions.

Last night, I had to answer the slew of Messenger enquiries coming in.

OK WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS AD

There’re three things I implemented to make this ad stand out from the rest.

1. Write in a conversational style. Talk to one person as if you are sending your friend a text message.

2. Add a little relevant humor. Include one more not so serious reason to the list of legitimate reasons. Reasons that invoke the call to action.

3. Include a picture no one else has seen. Stop using stock images. Use your smartphone camera and snap your own artwork.

It’s Tuesday morning now.

I woke up. Checked my messages. Guess what?
