Where to Book Phuket Tour Package from Singapore

Google Map of Phuket ThailandGoogled “Phuket Tour”.

Found many websites from Phuket.

Phi Phi island tour seems to be most popular.

The rarer ones were jungle trekking on elephants and living on river houses.

Stella did not want to rough it out.

So we looked for sea sports and city tour.
http://jctour-phuket.com/patong/index.php

The closest was the 2 Days 1 Night Bang-La Road (Patong Nightlife Discovery).

Patong beach is famous but the night life tour was not suitable for a married couple.

The site said…
“There are so many “Secrete things at night to see and do. (Secrete is the secret, it is unable to explain on this website) You must go to see it yourself.”

Their accommodation was Hamming Way Hotel and could pick us up from our other Hotel at 2,100 Baht/Person (Twin sharing) or S$87 per person. Very affordable.

Since we did not want to visit the “secret” night life in Patong, we could get there on our own to enjoy sea sports and shopping.

Just in case we needed an agent, JC Tours in Phuket seems reliable based on reviews in www.tripadvisor.com.

Is Hemingway’s Hotel ok?

Can we travel ourselves?
Is it cheaper?
What is the taxi/bus fare in Phuket?
. Phuket Airport to Phuket Town with one price 85฿. The bus leaves every hour from 6:30am to 8:45pm.
. Pre-arranged Hotel Transfer: Charges for this range from 500฿ -1200฿ depending on the hotel and the destination.
. The airport is one of the few places you can pick up a legitimate metered taxi by walking up ,where you can be sure not to get ripped off.
. There are many stand and people poaching for taxi business but they are x5 the price. and often drive dangerously.
. There is a flat charge of 100 Baht at airport , which is normal practice when departing from Thailand’s major airports.
. The normal meter fall is 20-35 baht when you get in outside of the airport area.
. Beware: Rip-off. Side Trips. Fixed price.
. to Patong Beach 500฿. (S$25)

Hotel alone?
. Superior Double Or Twin Room, Hemingways Hotel S$80.

Can we book from Singapore?

From Singapore

Googled “Phuket tour packages from Singapore”

Found many Google Ads. Means these companies paid for the ads. So I guess they should be reliable.
