How to speak clearly and confidently in front of the camera? That’s what most people want know when recording a web video.
Who better to answer the question than someone who lends her voice for commercials, corporate videos and telephone greetings.
I was fortunate to be introduced to a Professional Voice Talent, Sulabha, and to arrange a lunch appointment.
During lunch, I recorded a video blog and asked Sulabha to share some of her secrets which the rest of us can use quickly.
In this video, you will learn 3 valuable tips on speaking clearly and confidently on camera:
- 2 quick things to do before speaking and projecting your voice.
- 1 powerful idea that makes you speak fluently and naturally on camera.
- 1 simple method to remove fears and jitters immediately.
I enjoy recording a talent that require only one take for every scene. Watch the video and you will notice the minimum cuts.
Sulabha could speak continuously without a glitch to every question that I ask. There were no retakes at all… never!
PS: The HD video was shot in a noisy open cafe with an iPhone 4 and totally edited with the iPhone 4. No external microphones were used. The shots of me were from the front camera which is still in 4:3 size format.
