Shoot Under the Same Lighting Condition

Firstly, it’s crucial to shoot under the same lighting conditions. This ensures that both the original and the clone have the same light exposure, making the cloning process seamless.

Lock the Exposure

Secondly, tap and hold the screen until you see a yellow box. This locks the exposure, ensuring that the lighting remains consistent throughout your shoot.

Don’t Panic if You Still See the Line

Now, if you’ve done all this and you still see a line between your clones, don’t panic. Here’s what you do: Open up CapCut and start a new project. Select your Clone recording and tap on ‘Add’.

Next, move the timeline in between the clones and do a split. Choose ‘overlay’, then drag the overlay clone under the first clone. Now select the overlay, choose ‘mask’, and then ‘split mask’.

You can adjust the split mask to reveal both clones. Finally, look for a double arrow button and adjust it to blend the lighting. And voila! You’ve successfully cloned yourself with perfect lighting.

I hope these tips help you in your cloning adventures! Stay tuned for more!
